The male figure hunched up against the brick wall appeared to be asleep. He was clutching a half empty Pepsi bottle in his right hand. You wouldn't have known he was a boy at all unless his black jacket was unzipped revealing a pale, muscular chest.
He had very feminine features. The fact that he was wearing black skinny jeans and a lime green and black checkered bandana around his neck didn't help his masculinity either. He was also wearing thick eyeliner and a dusting of lime green eyeshadow.
His charcoal hair was worn in a very unusual style. Choppy jaw length bangs covered the left side of his face except for one lock that hung to his right. It was secured there with a glittery hair band. The back of his head was covered in tufty charcoal spikes.
What a strange boy, you thought. You scuffed your shoe against the ground. Suddenly, the boy's eyes snapped open and his ring encrusted knuckles curled around the neck of the bottle. You were surprised to see that his eyes were violet.
"Who're you? What's goin' on?" he asked groggily. You quickly thought up an excuse for staring.
"Umm... that's an interesting accessory you have there," you mumbled.
"This?" he asked, jabbing a black fingernail at a large black cross dangling at the center of his sculpted chest.
"No."
"What, this?" he said, raising a pruned eyebrow as he tugged on the bandana.
"Yeah, where'd you get it?"
He smiled strangely, careful not to show his teeth. "Made it myself, yep."
"Oh, that's nice."
He glanced down at his watch and let out a stream of curses. Man, he sure knew how to string together the worst phrases possible, you thought. He dropped the Pepsi and stood up. He was quite tall. He gave you another strange smile as he jogged down the alleyway.
"Later kid!" he called over his shoulder before he broke into a sprint.
You gasped at his impossible speed, no human could ever run that fast.
